Thalon - Game Review

Game Information, Gameplay, Images and Videos

Thalon is a science-fiction RTS game that is free to play and gives players a unique way to play. Thalon wants to give players a fair and competitive place to play by using new ways to find matches and bringing back old ideas like groups. Power points and seasons are used in the game to divide players into active segments and grade their strength and team makeup in a fair way.

One of the most interesting things about the game is how many assets it has. For example, any unit on the battlefield can be turned into an NFT and/or use skins signed on the Immutable blockchain. The developers are dedicated to making Thalon's non-fungible tokens work with other play-and-earn games.

Players compete for ownership of Thalon and NFT artifacts, which is similar to how RTS games are usually played. To beat their opponents, players must gather resources, build bases, and put together fighting troops. The game moves quickly, and most rounds last between 10 and 20 minutes.

With a total cap of 1 billion tokens, the $THL cryptocurrency is the base and center of the Thalon community. $THL is distributed on Ethereum/Immutable X and has a number of uses across the community, such as voting on governance, mining for liquidity, and giving prizes in games. The proportional weighted $THL worth of a staker's position is used to decide how the revenue is split.

Thalon needs to improve a lot before it can be used by a large number of people, but it already has over 10,000 users on Twitter and Discord. Signum Capital, the YBB Foundation, and Ethlizards were among the first people to put money into the project.

Overall, Thalon is a hopeful game that uses NFTs and blockchain technology to give a new spin on the RTS genre. Fans of RTS games should give it a try because it has new ways to match players and is fun to play.

A free-to-play classic real-time strategy (RTS) game in which players gather resources, lead armies, and engage in combat in the science-fiction world of Thalon.

The game will include enduring components like factions and creative matchmaking techniques. The hardest part of any strategy-first shooter game is matching up opponents of the same skill level. To divide players into active segments and correspondingly assess their power and team makeup, Thalon will employ power points and seasons. Players with comparable power levels will be able to engage in combat during seasons thanks to matching.

Since any unit on the battlefield may be displayed as an NFT and/or use skins signed on the Immutable blockchain, the game will have a huge amount of assets. The main team members are dedicated on integrating Thalon's NFTs with the larger play and earn game ecosystem. A seasonal leaderboard will make sure that both experienced and free-to-play players keep returning to the game for more enjoyable battles and adventures. Top players will also earn special awards.

Thalon Game Review

The first combat game in the Thalon trilogy, Thalon, is a classic real-time strategy (RTS) title that sets players against one another for possession of Thalon ($THL) and NFT artefacts. The first step is for them to decide on their preferred PvP or PvE game modes, NFT fighting units, and upgrades while staying within the allotted Power Points. As soon as a new game is started, the players start mining resources to construct their bases. The more resources they gather, the faster they expand their colony and begin to gather armed forces. A player is deemed the winner when their opponent concedes or has all of their buildings destroyed. Games typically last 10 to 20 minutes. The winner of the competition is given a bounty box where they can select what they want.

The following NFT objects or $THL tokens are part of the incentives for bounty boxes:

  • Resources from video games (soldier, tank, aircraft, etc.), also known as Battle Units.

  • In-game enhancements known as upgrades boost a fighting unit's stats (damage, armor, speed, range, etc.).

  • Land is an asset that players can modify to increase their financial gain.

  • Skins in the game give buildings and characters a unique appearance.

  • Seasonal rewards can be obtained through agreements with external companies, cosmetic land items, rare skins, and more.

Axiepop - NFT Game Review

Axiepop is a play-to-win game that is set within the universe of Axie Infinity, a popular blockchain game featuring collectible creatures called Axies. In Axiepop, players must match groups of three or more Axies of the same color in order to "pop" them and earn points. This puzzle game is similar to Candy Crush in that players must use strategy and skill to clear their board by matching and popping the Axies. The player with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner and can earn rewards for their performance. The goal of Axiepop is to get the highest score possible by popping as many Axies as you can in a limited amount of time. To play, you must match Axies of the same color in rows of three or more to make them pop and earn points. There are various power-ups and special abilities available to help you along the way. As you progress through the game, the puzzles will become more challenging and require more strategy to complete. The player with the highest score at the end of the game is the winner. Axiepop is a fast-paced and fun puzzle game that is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. Axiepop is a puzzle-based game that utilizes Axies, the popular NFTs from Axie Infinity, as the main gameplay elements. Players must match Axies in rows of three in order to pop them and earn points. The game is similar to Candy Crush in its mechanics, with a timer ticking down as players try to clear their board of Axies. Axiepop is expected to be released to the general public in the near future, and it is currently unclear whether it will be a single player or multiplayer experience. However, the website mentions beating an opponent, which suggests that it may be a player versus player (PVP) mode. The player with the highest score at the end of the game will win rewards. Axiepop Overview: The game uses Ethereum blockchain, so you can expect flexibility in terms of what you can do with your rewards. However, the games earning mechanism has not yet been mentioned. A PvP match win would be certain and there might be a chance that the game may have a leaderboard for weekly and monthly rewards. Since the game will be available on both PC and Mobile, players will have the chance to earn on the go. The game at the very least would be a great time pass for when you are commuting or have that extra few minutes during your lunch break. There is no clarity of when the game will actually become available to play. However, with the Axie community being so active, it wouldn’t be that difficult to know when it does. The game promises to be a great alternative to candy crush. It is unlike other puzzle games as this would earn you something.

Big Time: NFT Third-Person Action RPG And NFT Marketplace

"Big Time" is an innovative NFT (Non-Fungible Token) third-person action RPG that offers a cooperative gaming experience. In this game, players have the opportunity to form groups of up to six players and embark on adventures within a vast 3D overworld, including a hub called Epoch City, which bears a visual resemblance to popular games like No Man's Sky, Destiny, Fortnite, and Skylanders. The central mechanic of the game revolves around time machines, which bear a striking resemblance to black hole portals. These machines are used to transport player teams into dungeon instances, where they engage in real-time combat against a variety of adversaries. Combat in "Big Time" combines magic-based, melee-based, and hybrid combat styles. Interestingly, these time machines can be customized using the player's NFT artifacts and are also used for switching between character classes. Prior to venturing into dungeons, players can assemble parties of up to six members. Once in the dungeons, they face opponents, tackle obstacles, and collect items that can be used to enhance character development or traded for other cryptocurrencies or fiat currency. Additionally, "Big Time" boasts its own NFT marketplace, enabling users to trade, purchase, and sell in-game assets. The marketplace employs a unique Vault system that accepts payments via debit and credit cards, enhancing accessibility for players. One of the unique features of the game is its "play-to-earn" concept, which incorporates timelines. Players can use the same character to explore different class tracks at any given moment, creating a vast metaverse within the game. This grants access to a multiplayer digital environment with numerous timelines for exploration. "Big Time" features four distinct character classes: Time Warrior: Specializes in close-quarters combat and intense gameplay. Chronomancer: Excels in magic, precision, strategy, and ranged strikes. Shadowblade: Known for speed and stealth. Quantum Fixer: Specializes in support skills, including healing and enhancement. What sets "Big Time" apart is its flexible character class system. Players can switch between classes with the same character, allowing them to adapt their playstyle on the fly. Building a group of complementary characters for battles in the game is likely to require strategic planning and a deep understanding of the game's dynamics. "Big Time" represents a significant evolution in the world of NFT-based gaming, offering a unique and immersive experience for players who embrace this innovative genre.

Rune Seeker - Game Review

Rune Seeker - Game Review

"Rune Seeker" is a modern strategy card game that combines elements of turn-based strategy with blockchain technology. It is set in the enchanting realm of Norse Mythology and is scheduled to be launched on the Avalanche blockchain. This choice of blockchain ensures speed, scalability, and the ability to accommodate a large number of concurrent users. The game has received support from Ava Labs, emphasizing its goal of bringing true ownership to the world of card gaming. The game's lore is set in the Age of Origin, where ancient gods shaped the world, but conflicts among their creations led to chaos. To restore balance, new races emerged, and the game's storyline revolves around the struggle to prevent a cataclysmic war caused by the god Nul and the discovery of powerful runestones called "The Fallen Runes." In terms of gameplay, "Rune Seeker" introduces dynamic elements like terrain and runes, which offer various strategic possibilities. Each match begins with commanders deploying three units on random map-generated tiles. Units are affected by their elemental surroundings, aligning with Earth, Water, Fire, and Air principles. The game consists of 3-4 rounds, each with Command and Action phases. Commanders strategically position champions and use runes to direct units and manipulate terrain. The Action Phase involves executing actions such as attack, defense, transformation, fusion, or summoning. Victory is achieved by eliminating all enemy units or depleting runes. Matches may accelerate after three rounds, triggering the "Land of Chaos." Mastery of the game's intricacies is crucial for success. Players can engage in real-time PvP combat in the Battle Arena, embark on PvE adventures in dungeons to uncover the game's lore, and participate in special campaigns and side quests. Regarding tokenomics, the game adopts a non-inflationary model. Players do not earn tokens through a Free-to-Play model, preventing token saturation as new players join. Token generation during vesting is also absent, with 45% of the total $RUNES supply gradually entering the market over the initial 1.5 years, including contributions from initial investors and a liquidity pool. Seed Investors have access to a specialized staking program, adding incentives for long-term holders. The community response to "Rune Seeker" has been mixed, with some players expressing their enjoyment of the game, while others criticize aspects such as character design. However, the game's Norse mythology stories have garnered positive feedback.
